PROFILE
Billy Hung, a.k.a B.S.M, is an artist in constant transformation,
leaving the promising career in practice of law, and was inspired by
the spirit of graffiti, he made it his life-long objective to share the
joy and inspiration of graffiti, and to make a positive difference in
the world.
He passed through several stages and styles within the "graffiti",
mixing over the years several techniques. He grown up as a
contemporary artist to the current day. He is best known for his
stencil art, Sumi-e style and neon-light style graffiti.
Billy was also invited by art gallery in Taiwan to paint a 2.5
meters-tall "Maneki Neko 50/50". He is constantly travelling
around the globe for making art around the world.
In 2018, he started his creative studio, Art Lab 852, and started to
promote the art of spray painting. He held workshops in all level of
schools, including universities, and work closely to many non-
profit organizations. He also holds workshops for children of new-
immigrant families, helping them to immerse in new culture and
environment.
In 2024, He was invited to present his iconic artwork collection "Maneki-Neko 50/50" on main stage of World
Art Dubai 2024. He is also one of the most popular among collectors' choices in Affordable Art Fair Hong
Kong 2024.

Meaning of artist name – <B.S.M>
The name B.S.M. stands for “Butterfly sends Message”.
The name was inspired by the Chinese philosophical story of “dream of a butterfly”. Once upon a time, Chuang
Chou, dreamt he was a butterfly. He was conscious only of his happiness as a butterfly, unaware that he was
Chou. Soon he awaked, and there he was, himself again. Now he do not know whether he was then a man
dreaming he was a butterfly, or whether he is now a butterfly, dreaming he was a man.
The story raised the question that we cannot proof the reality, so the concept is that no matter we are in reality
or not, as long as we always do our best, we live the fullest life.
